Difference in Weekends

Last weekend Snowboard

Next weekend Surfboard

I love my life!

See you all in about a week. Hopefully in that time my body can catch up to my face in the tan department. Right now I look like a bad photoshop picture. This is what spring skiing does to us here in Colorado.

On a Lighter Note

I realized after posting my last blog I couldn’t’ leave that level of anger and negativity at the top of my blog…

So here is some random happy videos that make me smile. I hope they do you too.

(Nothing like anime and the 80‘s for entertainment…)

WARNING: Illicit Lyrics and a Bad Attitude to Follow

Okay, Here is a blog post that breaks one of my personal rules. I hate reading Blogs where people are negative or complain. It is so….

Draining

Well I need to break this rule because I am angry, pissed off and find myself looking for a creative outlet to explain these emotions that have been with me for the past couple of weeks. Maybe if I bring them out in the open I can let them go.

Here are three of my favorite break-up songs that seem so fitting for right now.

In no particular order.

(((DEEP BREATH)))

I feel better, thank you for letting me get that off my chest.

Looking Forward

When all else fails...Plan a trip! (or Two, or Three)

I have been experiencing wanderlust and craving the ocean for some time now, so in 2.5 weeks I will be here. Doing nothing but relaxing, healing and filling my soul with the salty scent of the brackish Gulf Coast. It isn’t the ocean, but it is a beach, and I look forward to hunting sand dollars and starfish while my toes wiggle in the sand.

Three weeks later, I plan on standing at the start line with my best friend, here. (Has it REALLY been since 2001 Bay to Breakers since we ran a race together?)

Good things are to come...

Feeling incredibly loved…

There is nothing like friends.
I have been on a hiatus from blogging lately since my personal life has been full of chaos.
Since drama is not my bag and I am exhausted from hashing out details, I’ll spare you, my three readers that read my blog, if your still around that is.

Wednesday night I made one mouse click on facebook to change my status from “in a relationship” to “Single”
What I experienced is an overwhelming outreach from my friends near and far.

Usually break-ups are some of the hardest, loneliest times for me. Not this time. I have never felt so surrounded by amazing people and I know I made the best decision.

So there you have it. The cast of characters has changed some.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.

Moving on…

The Results Are In...

I just got the call from my vet. Sasha’s DNA test is in.
She is…
(drumroll please)

At least 50% Golden Retriever
12.5% Australian Sheppard
25% unknown.

(I have no idea about the other 2.5%)

I will have to wait until I get my copy in the mail.
